 Joyce began singing in musical theater at the age of 10. She then began touring with a twelve-member children's choir where she performed at the Catskills in New York and participated in a benefit performance on television. These experiences lead her to Ivoryton Theater in Connecticut where, at the age of sixteen, she performed in the lead role of Oliver in their production of Oliver Twist. Joyce participated in the All State and All New England Music Festivals throughout high school. Although she chose not to pursue a career in music, she has enjoyed singing over the past few years with a number of big bands throughout Connecticut and is very excited to be among the many talented musicians of the Bob Hughes Big Band
