Bob,
Thank you for doing such a great job at my daughter's wedding! Gail and
I heard nothing but RAVES about the big band. Many of our guests had
never really heard a big band "up close and personal" so to speak. So
many of the attendees remained till the end because of the band.
Most importantly, Courtney was completely blown away when she arrived
at the reception to see and hear a 17 piece big band. She had no idea
that a big band would be present. (Dad lied to her and told her that he
hired a quartet!)
BTW, if you still have a copy of your playlist for the reception, could you please forward it to me? Courtney and Tim would like
to put it in their wedding book along with a copy of their vows and wedding pictures.
Thanks again, to you and the entire ensemble. There is still nothing
available that can replace LIVE music!

Thank you and the Big Band for a splendid night of music at our daughter, Jessica's wedding. You kept the entire crowd of 200 smiling all evening. I can't recall a happier wedding reception.
A variety of musician friends and relatives took me aside, noting the Big Band's superb musicianship. Their comments included
"Hey these guys are PROFESSIONALS!" and "This is the tightest big band that I've ever heard."
My musicologist cousin Dan sat down next to your percussion section for an hour---mesmerized by their technique.
You are the best big band that I've ever heard live; we were proud to have you playing. Thank you for a great time.

Dear Bob and members of "The Big Band",
Thank you so much for coming to our home in Wallingford this past
Sunday. "The Big Band" was the hit of the evening! Your musical selections
were very appropriate. Having the Dixieland jazz band play for the first
hour, followed by the big band sound was perfect. We have never hosted a
party where people sang and danced for the whole evening. We had no choice
but to extend the band for one extra hour! We have received so many
compliments and inquiries about your band, even from the senior citizens
who were not able to dance, but enjoyed listening to the music and reminiscing
about the old days.
Bob, it was a pleasure planning the party with you. You knew just
what would work. The Classy appearance of the band, dressed in black
tuxedos, added to the ambiance of the evening.
Thank you for making David's graduation party a big success! We look
forward to having you again in the near future.

Hi, there!
Frank and I just wanted to let you know how very much we
enjoyed being able to hear The Big Band. What a great sound you guys have - the
blend, especially in the sax section, is remarkable!
I recognized some of the arrangements, but some were unfamiliar, and I wondered if someone in the
band does some of the arrangements for you. In any case, it was so much fun
to hear a big band sound again; it's getting rarer and rarer, especially to
hear one that good.
I was pleasantly surprised to see some relatively young
adults in the audience, too ... compared with other audiences I've seen who seem not to notice the
band, that audience seemed pretty appreciative. I am so glad that you told me about the Westbrook event.
Believe me, if you do play there (or anywhere else that we can get to), we'll do our
best to be there. We were so impressed!
