 The Big Band is now a going concern. We have a full band, but we are always looking for good substitute players. If you play any of the usual big band instruments and think you might enjoy playing with us, be sure and give Bob Hughes a call. We'd like to hear from experienced players who would be willing to cover rehearsals when a regular has to be absent. We anticipate occasional vacancies and these will be filled from our list of substitute players. If you play and want a shot at playing on a great band, get in touch and we will see that you get to sit in. Good reading is a must as the material is first rate. We are playing performances now and reviews have been very good. The sort of players we sought (and found)as regulars are the same kind of players we seek for substitutes. You won't get rich, but you might get to fulfill your fantasy of singing with a roaring big band like Frank at the Sands. It should be noted that TBB is a professional band, and any singer who joins us shall be expected to be able to read the notes, learn the arrangements and sing on key.
